Ductwork services

Ductwork services fix the ducts that carry air from your system to each room. Leaky, crushed, disconnected or undersized ducts cause hot and cold rooms, high bills and dust, even when the equipment itself is fine.

Ducts in attics, crawl spaces and garages often lose a large share of the air moving through them through gaps at joints, boots and the plenum. Sealing with mastic or approved tape, reconnecting loose runs and adding insulation are the most common fixes.

Cleaning helps after construction dust, a pest problem or visible debris, but it does not fix leaks. When ducts are crushed, badly sized or failing throughout, replacement is often the better long-term choice, and it is a good time to add returns or correct sizing.

FAQ

Ductwork questions

How do I know if my ducts leak?+

Dusty rooms, uneven temperatures, high bills and a hot or cold attic are clues. A duct leakage test measures it.

Does duct cleaning lower energy bills?+

Not by itself. Sealing leaks and fixing airflow make the bigger difference.

How long does ductwork last?+

Often 20 to 25 years, though flex duct in hot attics can fail sooner.
